Bathroom Problem...

So, for a while now my snake has literally ONLY been going to the bathroom on my specific sheet set (I'm in college) He'll continue to eat, (I've gone up to three weeks) and I've set up bathroom boxes, and even just let him go on the floor/my clothes for minutes at a time, but the MINUTE I put him on my sheets he lets loose.

I had another set of sheets that looked just like it and he went on those as well but I didn't have the laundry funds at the time so I had to throw them out. Its a pain to clean constantly my sheets and I have no idea what to do.

Re: Bathroom Problem...

Have you considered leaving him in his enclosure to let him go in there? I suspect that handling him stimulates his digestive system so perhaps you need to just let him do his thing and them hold him. Just a thought...

Re: Bathroom Problem...

That said I had a corn snake that 99% of the time would poo on the bed when I got her out.

She would poo in her Viv but generally it would be on the bed. No idea why...

Re: Bathroom Problem...

Remind me to keep my snakes out of the bed!

I wouldn't be surprised if they sensed that someone had farted in bed and that it was okay to let loose since someone else already had!!

Of course he's in his Viv all the time as I used to only handle after he had gone to the bathroom (which would be not very long after eating) now he just does not go ever unless it is own my specific bed at college lol.
