My beautiful snake
Hello, I am new to this site and I would like to introduce my Snake Kaylie, she is a California King Snake (Lampropeltis Getula Californiae). She is the only one I currently have but I am looking to expand my collection with a Western Hognose (Heterodon Nasicus) and maybe a Kenyan Sand Boa (Eryx Colubrinus Loveridgei). But for now, have a look at what I have:
Kaylie just roaming around
Kaylie laying on top of her night chamber

Yea, she is very calm, I can do anything with her and she will not snap, she even lets me open her mouth with my fingers (to check for problems, clean hands of course) without putting up a fuss.
XxRachxX, CalKings have been known to deficate (maybe that's what you meant) on people if they feel insecure but they do not have scent glands to release odour. My King is true Black and White, I would say 50/50.

Those are some great looking shots. I love kings too, we've only got two right now, but I hope to have some more soon.

Hi GREAT SNAKE ..My Merlin is marked in the same way...very gentle ...I handle him often... the only time he is cranky is during shed mode...than I will leave him alone pretty much ..Kings are beautiful.
