Great shots of beautiful serpents!
I hope that some of them may eventually become available in Canada, because I'd snap 'em up, post haste!

Thanks for showing them to us.

You and me too Simon! Had the privilege of getting a baby. THing is the pair turned out to be 2 males. To add to tiings they were non-feeders! Didn't know until after I'd bought them. Was too much to keep feeding skinks so I sold em to Rob. And guess what, he ate for him on unscented mice no probs. Must have been the force-feeding I had to do on him.

Anyways, nice snakes Joroen. Great shots. Questions for you, how did you get them to feed when they weren't eating rodents? Did you just use birds?

Guess what,...i fooled them to empty a bird so youll only have the skin left !, and put a mouse inside ! They grabbed it after a few times,....al my babies died because they were non feeders !

That's too bad about the babies dying. Neat trick with the birds btw.

Did you ever try scenting with toads?

It's around $200-$300 the last time I saw the ads. Not exactly sure since I'm in Canada.

Careful though because they are rear fanged (no matter what Steve Irwin says). I had a buddy take a bit to his knuckle and it looks like he is permentantly losing alot of mobility. It did some damage to the connective tissue.

I have yet to have mine even try to strike at me... they were wild caught imports as well, and fed on mice immediately. As long as they are given a chance to hiss at it for a while, they have no problem at all eating whatever I give them.
