Retic enclosure question

Okay so my stepfather and I are building my mainland retic a 9ft long by 3ft wide enclosure. But i was wonder at what length did you decide to put your retic into its main enclosure. I ask this question because i dont wanna put her in it being small still. She is 5ft long right now. and i need to know if i decicde to move her into the new enclosure when she is 7ft, is that okay or will she be to stressed from the size of the enclosure. any thoughts? Thanks for your time to answer this question.

Re: Retic enclosure question

I have never seen a reticulated python being stressed out from too much room, you could move her over whenever you feel like it. Just make sure she has plenty of cover and she'll do fine if the rest is all proper. I put my babys in a 4ft enclosure from the start, 0 issues excluding the actual locating the snakes whereabouts when in hiding
