Trying to catch Crystal cork screwing!

She didn't perform like she was; she stopped as soon as I picked up the camera... She does it a little at the end...

Re: Trying to catch Crystal cork screwing!

That doesn't look like corkscrewing to me mate, it looks more like she's just trying to climb to higher level, can't find anything to get a purchase on and is falling back on herself imo but I could be wrong

I agree with Dave. Clumsy, yes, but no corkscrew there.

Re: Trying to catch Crystal cork screwing!

I know it's really hard to but if you could get a video of her doing it on the ground it would give a better account of what she's at mate . Also what have to remember is that every snake is different, we had 5 burms here at one time and none of them acted the same way. Even Daisy and Wilson are two complete different animals even though they're both burms, if you know what I mean

Re: Trying to catch Crystal cork screwing!

That is not corkscrewing, the only ones I've seen corkscrew are Spiders. Take a look at this video from my friend Gavin as he tries to explain the spider gene.
Start from around 3:50 and you will see one of his snakes corkscrew.

Hope this helps Sattva.
