I figured I would give an update on my snakes. For anyone that remembers my previous post about my new MBK, he is officially mite free. He also shed his retained eye caps the next time he shed. I came to the conclusion that the his anal scale is just a different color, and not an infection of some kind. So he is doing awesome now! Still not happy that I got him in that condition, but it is kind of my fault for not checking that closely when picking him out.
Anyways, my Honduran never got any mites which was something I was scared of. Lucky for me, proper quarantine and the correct use of provent-a-mite worked perfectly.
Enough of the update, here are some pictures of both of them. I don't have many of the MBK but I will try to get some more posted when I have some time to handle him for more than 5 minutes.
My Honduran was never really wild as a baby, but now he is a little over a year old and is even more calm. He even stays out and watches Netflix with me every now and then.
