DIY Snake Rack?

I am super excited to be getting my first ball pythons in a few months and, after seeing so many great setups, I'd like to build a 3 tub rack system that will accommodate them. However, I have no idea whatsoever what materials to use, how to build it or how to make sure they are getting the proper heating. Would anyone be able to give me tips? Pics of your (or others) completed projects would be greatly appreciated😊

Re: DIY Snake Rack?

Melamine and plywood (sealed with something like polycrillic) will work fine but are heavy. If you don't plan on moving anytime soon they will be fine. Plastics will be much lighter and easier to move around, this will be important if you move every couple of years. I found good plastics were expensive (I refuse to use cheap, whimpy stuff that's filled with air) so I just purchase prebuilt racks.
