Hello from NW Fl Panhandle
Just wanted to say hello. I live in the NW panhandle area of Fla, AKA, redneck riviera, lower Alabama....... Anyone else here from this general area? Gulf coast area?
I used to have a few snakes probably 10 or so years ago. My wife mentioned wanting to get another Brazilian rainbow boa. I said sure why not. So now its research time again. My memory isnt what it used to be,
Rob

IF you're looking for BRB, then the person you want to contact is Cliff from Living Gems. He posts here under the name Snakesitter. His animals are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Here's a link to his latest posting of his latest litter. http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/epicr...ow-babies.html

Re: Hello from NW Fl Panhandle
Thanks for the welcome. I have spoken to Cliff. I just got done emailing him a couple of questions about some of his snakes.
I am actually in the northwest panhandle of Florida. Nowhere near the storm. It sure was a nasty one though.

Re: Hello from NW Fl Panhandle
Amtrak!
My Brazilian Rainbow Boa, "Bean", came home with me from Florida on the Amtrak!
(Question, where do you actually get on the train from the panhandle?)

Re: Hello from NW Fl Panhandle
savvylr, Blackwater area? Pretty good herping out there.
JellyBean, I actually read your story before I signed up. Glad that nobody found out. Someone actually brought a big boa on board once, in one of the private rooms. The attendant went in there to do something and saw it. He freaked out bad. Another time I met a guy that had brought two rattlesnakes from texas in a military style duffle bag.
I actually work out of New Orleans, up to NY and then back to New Orleans. We make stops in Greenville and Spartinburg SC.

Re: Hello from NW Fl Panhandle
Eek! I wouldn't have the nerve to blatantly defy the rules that bad... I just had to get my 26g, unplanned package home (blush).
I've been on your train before, from Greenville
And I love New Orleans, one of my most frequented visits is to Jazzfest for the past 30 yrs or so!
