Pandora
Hey all! As some of you may have already known, I have been awaiting a lovely new BP. I made my last payment on Friday and she was shipped out on Monday. I was supposed to get her by 10:30am on Tuesday. However, I woke up at 7am and checked the tracking, looked good, checked at 8am, hadn't moved, but looked to still be on track. Then I chexked at 8:30.....they determined that the address provided was wrong and the note on the site told me to call in.
So I did. Confirmed the correct address and the representative told me all was well and she would still be delivered by 10:30am. Great!
Well...I checked a half hour later...no change. Ok...maybe there is just a delay in the updates. Wait another half hour, still no change. So I call back. This rep explains I cannot change the adress because only the shipper has that ability. WHAT?!?! Why had the previous rep not said that?!?
Needless to say I text the breeder and explain the situation. It comes down to either drive an hour away tobpick her up from the hub (btw, I'm already late to work....grrr) or wait and they will deliver her Wednesday morning, but then any health guarantee would be void.
Sooooo, I drive into downtown Nashville (haaaate downtown Nashville) and get her. She sat with me in my office the rest of the day and is now home and tucked away in her little tub. I know most people wait to let their snakes settle before offering food, but I always offer when I get them, and she was no different. I was worried since the breeder had only fed live, but I offered her a f/t rat pup and she took it! Hopefully this bodes well for her feeding habits. =)
The name 'Pandora' just popped into my head and I thinkbit might stick. Funny how some of my snakes get named right away, while others stay unnamed forever lol (male banana mojave bp is still unnamed....)
These pics were taken as soon as I got her. The one in my hand was while I was still in the fedex hub, but they kicked me out since apparently they don't allow live animals inside the hub (but the guy gave me the sissors to open the box? Whatever lol).

Re: Pandora
Nice looking snake, I'm a fan of that dorsal stripe. One of these days I shall have one...
It looks like a butter or lesser, but is the stripe a result of the genetic stripe gene or another pattern mutation that happened to work out?

Re: Pandora
You got it apot on Chairman. She is a lesser pin. I have never seen one so clean before! perfect stripes! She will eventually be paired up with my banana Mojave male. Hopeful outcome would be a banajigsaw and some BELs. That's of course a few years away lol. Who know what plans may change by then.
