Colour change
When we first got our purple albino female Jenny as a hatchling her head was pure yellow but as she's got older her head is turning more white. With this being our one and only retic I was wondering as anyone else noticed this I've posted some pics to show what I mean
Thanks for looking

Yeah it's normal from what I know, my lavender albino is doing the same thing, I've see other big purples the same way, wouldn't worry about it

Thanks mate I wasn't really worried about but both her mum and dads heads have stayed bright yellow. Although I do admit if her head turns complete white it would be stunning

Re: Colour change
I was kind of under the impression that my purple albino would get lighter as he aged, but I swear his head is getting yellower! How old is she now?

His head could well be getting more yellow mate every snake is different . I thought for sure Jenny's head would have stayed bright yellow because of both of her parents but it looks like I was wrong lol and she just turn 3 years old on May the 13th I think it was

Re: Colour change
Shes beautiful... I might be a little bias here, but I don't think there is much out there more attractive then a Purple albino retic...

I totally agree with you, we've had our burms for over 10 years now and love them dearly but there is just something about our retic that makes her that bit special. And out of all the paint jobs they come in I still say nothing beats a purple

Re: Colour change
Wow, she looks soo lady-like now that she's all grown up! As for colors, imo she looked cuter with all yellow head, but that weird witeish pattern is not bad too!

Thanks and I agree her head looked cleaner when it was a pure yellow it looks kind of dirty now in a strange way that's why I was hoping it would turn more white
