Introducing Nygma

Well heres hoping the pictures load right. I tend to screw these things up

Here is my new addition, Nygma. I got him off fauna from a guy down in san diego and he arrived a few days ago now. He ate his first rat pup with me...living up to their excellent feeding responses. So far he enjoys perching up at night for a bit and tucking himself under his puppy pads that I'm using at the moment

He seems a bit nervous at first but I havent had any issues picking him up and holding him.

Beautiful carpet Zelg. They're a lot of fun to keep.

I personally did it so that when you finally buy in the fall time you'll have that much more appreciation when you receive yours.

You're welcome

Re: Introducing Nygma

When was your carpet hatched Zelg? I love the ? in his head pattern. It reminds me of the Riddler from Batman. If I could get a jag that I knew had no neuro issues I'd snatch one up in a nanosecond. They're the most beautiful of the carpets IMO.

@ Blaze- Tis the season for new carpets! Don't delay.

Re: Introducing Nygma

All jags have neuro issues due to the genetic combo, it's just a matter of degree. Not a big deal for a captive animal, and it's not like they'll be released into the wild to fend for themselves. (Unless they're destined to become FL's next invasive species... lol.) I'm not partial to the idea either Ziggy, but seeing how great they look I can certainly understand why they're popular regardless of the neuro flaw.

Re: Introducing Nygma

Kinda funny, Mike Curtin produced a DJJ with a black ? named Riddler and owned by Moana McAdams (MoJo's Reptiles)...Insane DJJ, very much like Gamma jag status. Zelg, yours has a "negative" image of a ?. Very cool pattern indeed. Nice pick up. Post up more pics as this guy puts on more size please!!!

If you're already hiding one snake, one more won't matter .

Re: Introducing Nygma

That animal really has both serious coloration and patterning. The head stamp is icing on the cake. Congrats. Shows true quality...

Not sure on the hatch date. The best info I have is an invoice from the original owner to the previous owner thats dated May 11, 2015.

As far as genetics go...Produced by G&G Reptiles - Bob and Ed Gibson

Under the description it says "Headhunter 50% jungle jag x VPI/Lazik/Hamper Jungle."

I dont know exactly what to make of that. I'll post the pics of the parents...
