Hatchling Aurora house snake finally eating f/t pinks and some extras!!
My finicky eater is eating pinks and small pieces of raw fish! Snapped a couple pics to share!

I'm always amazed when I get exposed to beautiful snakes that I hadn't seen or heard of before. I've heard of house snakes but never an Aurora house snake. Nice critter Rage and congrats on getting it to eat.

Many thanks guys! Ziggs, These guys are teeny tiny as hatchlings and stress really easily. I was a little concerned when I first got her because she would only eat the occational small piece of rat tail! HOpefully those days are now gone. I have been adding species to my scaled family too! Here are some others that I have picked up over the last couple years. Sorry for the crappy pic of the tri color! He would not sit still.

Indeed Albert! The orange rat snake is actually a bamboo rat, or bamboo red racer. There are like 10 common names for these guys.
