Need a picture, but there are a few species native to the area. You have Western Diamondback's (Crotalus Atrox), Mojave's (Crotalus Scutulatus), Speckled's (Crotalus Mitchelli Pyrrhus), Great Basin's (Crotalus Viridis Lutosis), Sidewinder's (Crotalus Cerastes Cerastes), and Panamint's (Crotalus Mitchellii Stephensi).

Looks like C.O. Lutosis (Great Basin Rattlesnake) to me. They vary greatly from range to range in appearance. Definitely a must find for me personally.

It is C.stephensi or C.pyrrhus, but deafiantyl one of the 2. Hard to tell with out seeing the head, the banding makes me lean towards stephensi. Pretty snake.
