Pastel pied and het pastel pied.

I have been pairing my 2014 pastel female to my 2013 pastel pied male for the past 4 months. Yesterday I found her posturing like this. She is in blue now but I don't know if this is a pre lay shed or a pre ovy shed. Lol.

Re: Pastel pied and het pastel pied.

They have had numerous locks over the past 4 months, this is one. The Female was a Petco purchase in 2014 and the male is a Adam Chandler 2013 production.

Thanks Sylph! If I could , I would. Haha. The best I will get from this pairing is super pastels het pied, pastel het pied and pastels. The female is single gene pastel and not het pied. But I'll take it! And the healthy overall.

Thanks Po, preshed is when the gravid female is about to lay her eggs but roughly 30 days prior she will have a shed. Thus, its known as the pre-lay shed.

Thank you mac! Yeah, it was unplanned to purchase from Petco but i got fooled into it. I absolutely do not have alot of room. Everybody here is in a tub inside of a rack. I have two 41 qt tub racks that hold 6 adults and 1 21qt tub rack that holds 4 of my adult garters. Two 15qt tub racks that hold my juvenile garters, 1 6qt tub rack that holds my hatchlings. Space saving racks. Two quarantine 15qt tubs that are singles.
