Re: New purple sunfire

He looks fantastic jp! Will he stay that color? Do you think there is another gene mutation at play causing the coloration difference?

I sure hope so, i prefer the orange to the yellow and i know of another person that has an adult that is orange like this, could be a new line possibly. I cant wait to produce a super sunfire orange line if it holds true

Re: New purple sunfire

Very nice animal. Clean pattern and the greyish-purple lining going down his back really compliments the orange well. I'm not physically capable of handling a snake that big, but boy can I sure appreciate them. He's gorgeous. Kinda off topic, but what color are his eyes? You know retics have just amazing eyes and I'd love to see if they're superb as well

You will have to excuse the shed skin, not sure why it wasn't pulled off first but the eyes are almost a red

Gorgeous animal inside and out. Thanks for bothering with the photo! I love dark red eyes on animals (not the pink you'd see on albinos. More like those on red eyed tree frogs, RAPTOR leopard geckos, and of course this handsome fella).
