Heat Packs...
Today, I bought 3 new geckos, and the person gave tehm to me in a box, that had this little heat pack inside it. It felt like it was full of little beads or something, and they reacted with oxygen, and become hot when one side was exposed to air, to keep them warm, or something. They are really neat! Where would you get some of these heat packs, and how much are they?
Thanks,
Dan Conner

Walmart has pocket warmers in the sports section. They last about 8-10 hours. They're not heavy duty heat packs, but great for transporting short distances (bringing critters home from the show). I paid $3.47 for a pakage of 6

you can also get them at canadian Tire. Some are meant to put inside winter gloves to keep warm. I guess it really doesn't get that cold in the vancouver and toronto area. HEhehe compared to edmonton . It was about -36 C here yesterday morning. tO YOu americans that is around -29 F. Crazy stuff. Anyways. Yeah Canadian Tire

Wait till spring and hit WalMart as they are blowing out all their winter gear. I cleaned them out of warmers last year and only paid 50 cents each!!! Got a drawer full of them in case of shipping or an emergency like power outage.

Sport Chek! (Haha I don't really want to advertise my own employer... but oh well. If it helps it helps.) They're called "Heat Factory", that's the brand. You can also get ones that have little bears, squirrels and stuff like that on them! So cute. We charge 2.50, but you get 2 "hand warmers" (Smaller size) and 1 regular warmer (Medium size)... you can also get a BIG size, that should be 2.50... At least that's what I've been giving them to people for... EEp.
Kate
PS - If you're either of the Forzani brothers and you're reading this post, then I actually DID sell them for the real, required price............. cough..........
