Question Help with prey food size

Okay so first I will say hello to all as I am new to this herp forum! 😁

Now I have 3 cornsnakes of the same size (8 1/2in.) and I read online and in many books and I've talk to a lot of breeders about what size to feed and when to feed that size. So now that you have 3 eight and one half inch snakes in mind.... These pinkies weren't pinkies... Or they were very.... VERY very large pinkies, sooooo these guys were about the size of a bottle cap! So reluctantly I gave the male(snow morph) the smallest one whole and he had it down quicker than the others. ¡¡¡¡¡CAUTION GRAPHIC CONTENT!!!!! Okay so the other 2 (amelanistic females) I resorted to taking the heads off of these pinkies(which from herein I will call young furries). I haven't quite figured out how to upload pictures yet but when I do, I'll be sure to post them to this thread! Please help! I don't know if I'm doing the right thing 😩😩
