Thanks to Trace for telling me this one.

I was watching an animal show the other night...they had a little segment on Sea Horses.....

When I looked closer and used the ZOOM on my TV tuner for the computer, I could clearly see fishing line bobbing the sea horse around!!! I couldn't believe it! I totally started laughing.

haha has nothing to do with that show but its funny what some animal shows will do to get the "perfect" shots.

I really enjoyed the reptile one! I love PBS, no commercials. I was a bit bothered by how much the Lizard Lover guy kissed his reptiles given the risk of Salmonella but I liked that he was trying to show Lizards as lovable pets just like dogs or cats. Otherwise it was a great show. I love it when I learn something.

It bothered me more that Henry Lizardlover let his big ig eat pizza since they don't have the enzymes to digest milk sugars and too much protein can cause kidney or liver problems. But overall I thought the show was well done.

I've seen the Komodo dragon Kraken at the National Zoo in Washington and she is worth the trip!

I've seen Kraken about 4 times but never saw her feed, and never saw Phil interacting with her. I can't believe how gentle she is with him!

Nothing really to do with this thread (It KIND of relates back to the seahorse thing)...(but not really)

I bought a book in Florida last week called "Enjoy your Chameleon." On the front is a panther, and the 'center picture' is a jackson's ... [if I remember correctly, I don't have it with me.] The book goes on talking about chameleons, yet all the other pictures besides those 2 are anoles.. They kind of mesh things about chams in with anoles... The dewlap, the colour change, the habitat vs. the cage (Describe the cham's habitat, yet suggests keeping it in a clear vase with sand)... It's absolutely hilarious... It also says that "cham's" love to be worn around... they have a picture of an anole with a red ribbon tied around it's neck and being pinned to some woman's shirt... lol I'd like to see someone try that with a cham. (Not seriously, of course.)

aahah Just thought it was funny.
Kate

(PS I only paid 1.50 for it lol)

i watched and taped that, it was a good show but when Henry Lizardlover had his large iguana out in public and fed it PIZZA, I was kind of upset, the least they could've said was "this is not an appropriate diet for an iguana", I just hope iguana owners that don't know that that type of food is inappropriate for thier pet.
