Somehow the inquisitiveness comes through in the still photos. Very cool. How old is he?

He's a CB from Steve Angeli but my buddy has had him since then, that said he's about 4-5.

I love varanids and his enclosure was originally going to be for a monitor but I got the opportunity to get him instead and jumped on it.

The venom potency is high, he is still very much a hot but you won't likely die from a bite but anaphylaxis is possible. Now with that said some of them are very mellow and can be held easily. Mine tolerates being held but he's still got an attitude I have to make sure he knows I'm there by touching his tail and hell turn and hiss then I can pick him up but if he wants he could really ruin my week.
