Feeding video

Yesterday our new Tai beauty rat snake decided to shed for the first time with us. So we feed him too, as he was soo actively looking for food. Unfortunately we don't have any rats at the moment so he's on two adult mices.

Re: Feeding video

Looks like that one hasn't settled in completely yet. I'd expect a stronger feeding response from a freshly shed rat snake, lol. My everglades rat is shy when I open the top, inclined to duck for cover, but when she sees food she comes back out quickly, and as soon as the first one goes down she's looking for more.

Re: Feeding video

toddnbecka, I guess he saw reflection in a glass and was too agitated by that to just simply grab the real mouse... Well, I guess 2-3 feeding and he'll be a second Artemis, taking them down in few seconds
