It would no doubt, hands down, live if shipped by air, on a heated flight. This is how practically all herps are shipped across the continent and even over-seas. The animal would be packed in a plastic contained, inside a styrofoam cooler, with ventilation in both the plast and the styro obviously, heat packed, enclosed in a box, and shipped. Typically, the fragile parcel would arrive same day or early next day. No worries.
Since I have no idea where you live, I know that in Canada, the average cost on Fire Skinks is $50.00 for a WC adult, or CB baby/juvenile.
