I'am looking into getting an Africa Fire Skink.I can not find a breeder that has them.What are the regular price ranges?Where can I get 1 of these lizards from a breeder in Canada.Thanks.

That is too far for me to get one.....that is if he sells them.Do you know any where else that sells them?Do you think that it would live if shipped by plane?

It would no doubt, hands down, live if shipped by air, on a heated flight. This is how practically all herps are shipped across the continent and even over-seas. The animal would be packed in a plastic contained, inside a styrofoam cooler, with ventilation in both the plast and the styro obviously, heat packed, enclosed in a box, and shipped. Typically, the fragile parcel would arrive same day or early next day. No worries.
Since I have no idea where you live, I know that in Canada, the average cost on Fire Skinks is $50.00 for a WC adult, or CB baby/juvenile.

I found a place called Global Pets Inc.There Fire Skinks are $69.99 each.I'am probally going to get 2 Fire Skinks,1 Pacman Frog and 1 Green Anole.Thanks.

Enjoy. Try to attain some C.B. Fire Skinks, considering WC's tend to go downhill rapidly if not in tip top shape when imported.

is the African Fire Skink the same thing as a Togo Fire Skink? that's what i have and i am just curious.

Common names are a terrible mislead in identifying animals. If you're animal is known as "Riopa fernandi" scientifically, then you would be in possession of what is commonly called the "African Fire Skink". I don't know about Togo Fire Skink, it could be another common name for this species, or it may be a member of a seperate subspecies.
