Overnight toiling with water dish

Mars seems to like moving stuff in the middle of the night, she seems to have thrown newspaper shreds into her water and the waters all missing but with no major wetness. Its almost as if she used the news paper to absorb all the water.

Re: Overnight toiling with water dish

I have a couple snakes who do this. Drives me crazy! I put a cardboard box over the water dish and cut a hole in the middle for the snake to crawl through. That keeps paper out of the water for the most part. Sometimes the box gets moved, but it's not really a big deal.

Temperment, not so much. Personality however, is another story lol. I have a female hognose that pushes her sanichips in her water constantly, but she's one of of my most tame and easily handled snakes. =)
