The still unnamed boa girl...

Her first time hanging out since she came home! So far she is another very tolerant boa. She had a little issue settling into the big cage and regurgitated her first meal. I ordered her the black plastic hides thinking that might make her feel more secure even in the big cage (after contacting the breeder her cage before was like ten times smaller than what I stuck her in). The second feeding was a success and she is now moving around her cage more often. I spotted her plotting a way to escape at the door of her cage before I turned out the lights tonight. After more than two weeks hiding away never moving around I'm glad to see her comfortable finally!

Beautiful girl! Glad she's settling in for you, sometimes those first few weeks can be a bit stressful.

How about Almondine for a name? Dunno why, but that's what came to mind when I saw the pics.

I'd name her Buttercup.

Re: The still unnamed boa girl...

Thanks! I'm very happy with her...I was a little worried about the feeding at first but she was easy enough to solve. It was weird to have a boa with eating problems/stress issue after my big girl who could probably eat everything I have in the freezer right now and keep it all down :P Plus, I don't think Lucky has ever had a stressful day in her life...no matter what happens she is a very just go with the flow kind of snake, even when she was tiny she had that attitude.

I had a bearded dragon named Butterscotch at one point...

I'm kind of thinking Zuka might be a good name for the bull snake I'm going to be getting at some point.

Re: The still unnamed boa girl...

Ohhhh...I like Celest for my hypocalico chinese beauty! Thanks I was really stumped on what to name that one!

Alright keep them coming You just have to come up with names for the boa still and then I have a white sided rat that still needs a name...
