Snake Shedding.

Hi guys, as a new time owner would love some advice. I'm pretty certain my girl is going into shed but would like all of your opinions

She has been showing these signs:
- starting to get a little grumpy/snappy
- Darkened extremely from when i got her (W+B) to a darkened tan w/ white belly.
- Eyes gone cloudyish
- Hiding more than usual (No longer comes out at night)
- Has gone off feeding (She ate last week but this week she didn't eat)

I have attached a before (top) & after (Bottom) photo showing her eyes and skin colour

She's definitely in shed. Just make sure your temps and humidity are dialed in and give her 7-10 days to do her thing. I don't handle my snakes when they're in shed unless it's necessary. Some snakes will eat and others wont. She'll be looking much better in a few days.

Re: Snake Shedding.

Thanks! Yeah she was kinda acting different little moody & skittish when i would hold her then yesterday when i tried picking her up she snapped at me (assuming because she cant see well etc) so i left her alone and intend to do so until she finishes her shed Ive been making sure everything is at the right temp & intend on making her a sphagnum moss box to put in her enclosure. I thought that she would so i'm excited for when she finishes her shed to see how her colours come out

Yep, she's going to shed. Leave her alone, and make sure her water bowl is filled. She may want to soak in it to help her shed.
