I make pens as a hobby. I sell a few just to pay for the hobby, but this one will be a Christmas gift for one of my grandsons. I thought I'd share it here with the arachnid lovers. It is made from wood cut to shape, dyed, and fitted together. Obviously it is not exactly anatomically correct for a Black Widow, but it’s close enough so people to know what it is. I also make pens from postage stamps encased in resin, but I only have those with reptiles as there aren’t that many postage stamps with arachnids.
