How big do they get?

Hi I'm interested in finally moving to large snakes, I think I'll get a boa constrictor before a burn or retic. I'm comfortable working with snakes around 12 ft, what boa constrictor do you think gets closest to this? Btw I was thinking of getting a female Guyana red tail boa.

I'd say Argentine boas (BCO) and some BCC, but 12' is not something you should realistically expect when getting a boa constrictor. 9 times out of 10 they just don't reach it. Look forward more to a 5'-9' range, on average, depending on subspecies/locale, and don't expect to see the really large sizes (over 6') for 6+ years.
