What kind of snake is this?

Hello. I live in central FL and I have a pool that is screened in. Today I found this little guy inside my pool area. I would like to know what it is, is it a baby, and if so, is mama around somewhere close??? Oh and the biggest question, is it poisonous? Thanks for your help!

Its a baby black racer. Non-venomous. Mom is long gone.

Looks like some sort of Racer, although I'm not familiar with the species of racers that you have in that area. Nonvenomous, and the mom is probably nowhere near it. They're solitary animals, so if there is another one around your house it's probably just a coincidence. No need to worry about this little guy! He's probably just passing through and will be on his way!

Agree with juvie Black Racer, specifically it is a Southern Black Racer (Coluber constrictor priapus). It seems everyone but me is finding these little hatchling Racers right now, I've been looking hard with no luck. Thanks for sharing.
