It certainly could be ,but the history of present illness is more informative. Such as what was it the snake was exposed to that possibly could have caused said injury. A yellow tinted belly might signify a early scale rot condition. Scale irritation also. Could be a dermatitis. What are the caging and husbandry info?
Generally speaking they are slightly red from a burn. Yellow is normally caused by things like fungal or bacterial infection. However, it could just be natural colour change too. As Albert said its a little hard to tell without more information
