Ink in Paper Towels?

So I feel like this is just me being overly cautious, but are there any risks to using paper towels for substrate that have designs printed on them? It wasn't until I got home from the store that I realized the paper towels had small pictures on them as part of the design

Re: Ink in Paper Towels?

There's absolutely no risk. If it were newspaper ink, you might have a snake with a slightly darker underbelly, but even then no physical harm is present. The designs on paper towel are designed not to leak when they get wet and such, otherwise you'd have red and blue hands when you went to dry them. There's absolutely no harm, nadda. And you're not being overly cautious. Frankly, the problem tends to be that people aren't cautious enough.
