I got a ball python 4 days ago. I tried feeding him today f/t but he didn't eat it. He was previously fed live so I'm not too concerned about him not eating this. What I am concerned about is his activeness. He is active for 12+ hours not going in his hide. EVERYTHING is right in is enclosure. Currently I have him in this tub but I am hoping to transfer him in a 20 gal long tank in a month or so. Should I be worried about his activeness. He just keeps trying to escape.
If he is awake during the night.. Its ok... If he never hides i might be a problem..
Since he is knew.. Try not to bother him.. I would give him a week to settle in properly.. Just let him be..
About your temps.. Its really hard to see the numbers.. Even zooming in with my phone..
Really beautiful snake by the way =)

I would let him be longer before trying to feed again. It looks like you're holding an infrared gun, where are you pointing to get the readings? What is the temp inside each hide?
