Shipping Internationally?

hello everyone!

now because keeping snakes as reptiles is a very exotic hobby here in the United Arab Emirates, snakes are so overpriced!
which made me think of an alternative option; importing one from the United States.

so i wanted to know is there any shipping company that accepts the shipping of a live reptile INTERNATIONALLY?

Speak to Michael Cole or Eric Crider. Both of those guys broker. Not sure about where you are but could try.

It would be more cost effective if you could get a group of other keepers together for a shipment, maybe start a herp society in your area. Then you could import from US or Europe as a group.

Re: Shipping Internationally?

I agree it would be best to make arrangements with a group of people who are also interested. It'll cost quite a lot to import live snakes regardless what importer/exporter you work with(or even if you handle the paperwork yourself), so it wouldn't be worth it if you're just getting a couple snakes for yourself. With a group you can split the cost.

Re: Shipping Internationally?

You'll need to work with the person in the US that you're buying from. I believe Delta ships international. What are you looking to buy? I can probably give you a good recommendation on who to speak with depending on what you want.
