Blisters

The conditions for my BTS have stayed constant for years. I noticed two bulges on top of his tail recently, and not knowing how easily they would pop I gently pressed them and water trickled out.

Treatment- I'm already sanitizing his container and using chlorhexidine and antibiotic where the blisters were.

Future- This is my main concern, I've always had a humid hide for him because he seems to enjoy it. After he basks he goes in there and lucks rapidly taking in moisture. Do I get rid of it now that blisters have occured?
Also is there anything beyond sanitizing, antiseptic and antibiotic that you use?

Re: Blisters

It's odd to get blisters on the top of it's tail. What do you use for heating?

Re: Blisters

I use a combo of undertake and over head, but the overhead is more than 20 inches away from him (cage was originally for a carpet, but impulse bought him at a show)

I think it might be from condensation building at the roof of his humid hide. The hide is in there because he developed RI without it.

I only posted to see just how common they are, and if anyone takes additional steps to what I said.
