This is my youngest, freshly arrived tonight
A young male Chionactis occipitalis WC!

Species as small adults that my Storeria , semi-desert, and burrowing insectivore, crickets etc.

Congratulations on the new addition! Are these insect eating snakes why species? Do they come out from hiding and roam their enclosures?

While herping I see these quite often, they are a very cool animal and somthing you don't see ever day in the bobby! The one I had was in sand and did very well. It would feel the vibrations from the crickets, come to the top and feast!

Yes, he walks in the terrarium.
They eat crickets, earthworms, cockroaches, mealworms etc.

Yes he often takes out his head as soon as I open the terrarium.
