New gtp setup.....thanks to mites

We'll the other day my little gtp Sydney had a few mites on him so I had to treat him and his cage. He was easy enough to treat in a quarantine cage but his cage was going to be a nightmare given all the live plants and the cage below him, Giuseppe would be way worse (even though no mites had shown on him) because of his live plants, so I decided to redo both cages at once. We've never had removable branches, just fixed ones but rather than sterilize their grape wood posts I went and got bamboo and cut to size and did what everyone else does, cement rubber stoppers for support. A few plastic (sigh) plants and the cages are done. Even with the open top exotera humidity was never a problem for me with live plants. I don't know what to expect now with plastic. We'll see.....

Mites are a pain. I hope you're treating everything you own because if one has mites they all do.
