How big do monitors get?I want one but Id like all the info(care conditions etc...)before I get one,any help would be appreaciated

you really have to be more specific than that, they range in size quite alot....
do some research as to which beginner species would be best for you and then search for some care sheets no that species!

Monitors range in size from 8 inches to over 10 feet (adult sizes). If you are seriously interested, I'd strongly suggest reading over the Captive FAQ found at www.varanus.net. There isn't a better place to start in my opinion.
