Question Small Lump on Side

Ok, so as I was putting the white lip away last night I noticed a very small lump on his side, about 1/2-2/3 of the way down. Its hard, doesn't move and doesn't bug him to touch it. Then this morning he had a slightly greenish urate but I'm not sure if its enough to be concerned. I know, these pics suck, sorry. Threw in an extra for looks lol. Any ideas?

Re: Small Lump on Side

You better go to a vet. It could be anything from a small infection to a cyst or even a tumor.

Re: Small Lump on Side

I'm planning on it, right now its sounding like it could be subcutaneous nematodes but I just wanted to get some ideas.

Re: Small Lump on Side

I'm clueless on this one Snoop. I hope it's nothing serious but a trip to the vet might be in order.

Re: Small Lump on Side

Yeah, I'm gonna give him a week to settle in and then I'll be taking him in. Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

Re: Small Lump on Side

Any way you can contact the seller and ask them about it?

Re: Small Lump on Side

I did. I asked them if they had any ideas on what it was and asked what he was eating and how often and all he said was fresh killed small rats.

Yeah just wait for the vet. It's the best solution here. They can test or take a biopsy all they need.

Re: Small Lump on Side

Def get to a vet. Could just be a broken rib (it happens) or it could be a cyst or a tumor. They'll be able to tell you.

Re: Small Lump on Side

We've got an appointment for the 24th at 8:00 am. I wish I could get him in sooner but on the plus side, that gives me a chance to try feeding again in order to get a fecal done. So far he's only had one urate with me.
