New Pics of Bogey
He/she (really will have to sex sometime, lol) is growing like a weed. Still has the same mellow disposition, but much longer and plumper than the hatchling I brought home about 6 months ago.
Outside yesterday in the sunshine:
bottle for size reference:
Love the tricolor pattern:
Inside last night, rather active and seemed to want out of the enclosure to roam a bit, climbed up onto the window sill:

Re: New Pics of Bogey
Jungle cross, no clue who produced this one, though from the pattern I suspect there's some coastal in there too. I picked him/her up at the Hamburg reptile show last year from a vendor who apparently owns a pet shop, and takes quite a lot of animals in on trade. There were 3 of them that looked pretty much the same, and I've seen a seller on fauna classifieds that had produced some that looked so much like mine that I asked if they were siblings, but they weren't. I had been researching carpets and kept reading that babies tended to be bitey, but this one has been such a sweet and mellow fellow from the start. Had some difficulty getting started feeding, tried f/t several times with no luck, then finally a live hopper mouse was accepted. Ever since then anything offered is eagerly taken, though it's usually live or freshly killed simply because I have so many mice on hand. Buggers breed and grow faster than the snakes eat them.
