One of my absolute favorite snakes due simply to how it kills.
Not the most deadly of snakes, but still fascinating.

I has referring to the hemotoxic venom as opposed to neurotoxic venom. While most of the 'bigger' hots also have hemotoxic properties in their venom, the Boomslang is strictly Hemotoxic. It's always been interesting to me.

i had to read up on hemotoxins vs. neurotoxins.. but i know what you mean now. are there any other species of snakes that are strictly hemotoxic, or are boomslang the only ones?
