housing two females together?

Im transforming a bedroom into a snake enclosure. I have 2 boas that are available that im torn between, ones a sharp line albino about 5-6' the other is normal morph that is 7-8' is it possible to get both, since theyd have enough room to share the bedroom?

wouldn't you be better off, changing the room into a reptile room that you
keep individual enclosures in it ??

I would not recommend keeping two in the same enclosure, even if it's a complete room..

I think it would be best to get two individual or build two enclosures to keep them in.
much easier to control parameters and you can keep more of them in the future if wanted..
unless you decide to keep a giant anaconda or bermese python, your boas don't need a complete room to be happy.. a 72x24x24 would be perfect..

I agree with yeloowtang. Plus, if the room itself is the enclosure, it will take a *ton* of work to clean it up after your snakes are done with it and before you move out.

That is very interesting. How big is the bedroom? How do you plan on executing the husbandry? Sounds like they would have more than enough room to get absolutely lost! How are you going to spot clean and deep clean enough? More husbandry issues. Normally, they should be housed separately but with such a large enclosure, it's possible.

9' x 8' room. I plan on covering the walls, floor and ceiling(removing light and ceiling fan) in acrylic plastic, reptile safe of course, id go across the window with it too, for heat and cold seeping issues through the seasons. The closet would be a barred and screened door thats where the only light would be, and id have a thermostat and space heater in the closet for temp control. The door into the bedroom would essentially be an outside screen door so all glass with the ability to be pulled up to expose a screen to vent if temps start to get too high. The light switch for the closet will be in the hallway outside of the room. I was planning on covering the floor in repti carpets and some river rock to help hold them in place and aid in shedding. Also i will have plenty of hides and climbing type stuff in there still springing ideas of what to do for those things. Money isnt really the issue i just want the snakes to be content. I suppose i could put a piece of drilled acrylic in the middle of the room with a swinging piece(a door) to give them each a side but id rather house them together, its be easier to moderate temps all together vs each side.

Because its coated in acrylic all that would need to be done is removing the acrylic sheets then the room would be good as new. I keep my adult corn and adult blue tongued skink in that size enclosure they love the space.

I would acrylic down the center, they would both still have plenty of space.

I just wouldn't risk housing them together. Snakes can and do eat each other.

If they are together there is always the chance you will go in one day and there will only be one. If you do decide to house them together you would definitely have to separate them every time you feed them.
