Perfect Prey Feeders
Anyone have any experience with Frozen Rodents, Mice, Pinkies, Rats, Feeder Insects & Snake Food For Sale | PerfectPrey.com, LLC? Their prices on rats seem good, but if they're not good quality obviously I'll spend a little more for Big Cheese Rodents. Wasn't too thrilled with Rodent Pro last time.

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
I haven't used them but I highly recommend Big Cheese. Let us know if you try and like them.

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
I hear good things about Big Cheese. I think I might try this place though, I'm reading good things on their facebook, packaging looks good too. Guess we'll see.

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
i don't mean this to be a ***, but what makes good quality feeders other than size for your dollar and packaging?

Not sure if I understand exactly what you mean by this but if its what I think, what they're fed, fat content, diseases and how they're housed all affect quality. If its fed poor quality food, you have a poor quality feeder.
This is a photo from their website, jumbo rats for $1.25 each. Don't look too bad to me.
My order would consist of 25 rat pups for $20, so 80 cents each. 80 weaned rats for $68, 85 cents each for a total of $131.03 with shipping. Not too bad, IMO. Same order from Big Cheese is $126.95, 25 pups for $18.75 and 80 weaned for $79.20. Only cheaper because they're doing the $29 shipping though.

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
Perfect Prey Feeders was formally known as Loxahatchee Rodents, and I have used them in the past, and the rodents I got from them were very clean and packaged perfectly...

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
I just ordered from them recently and I can confirm that the rats seem pretty high quality. They're plump and well fed looking and their coats were nice. They did have a bit of a pee smell, but I just washed them off.

Re: Perfect Prey Feeders
I ordered pinkies, fuzzies, and adult mice in bulk from perfect prey a month ago because their prices beat rodent pro. I was pretty impressed, good quality and prices. Sure beats my running back and forth to petco every week. It took me awhile to learn this but after doing calculations I'm saving about $400 every year using perfect prey with what I need to buy for my snakes.
