Hey guys, so I was wondering for those of you who use newspaper... Can it be just any newspaper? Anything I should look out for? Do you guys shred it or just lay it down how it is? I won't be able to use loose bedding for awhile like I usually do and have never used newspaper so sorry if these are dumb questions.

I just lay it down. Some people say not to use printed newspaper because of the ink but it's all soy based ink to my knowledge. Shredding it would make it harder to clean I would think.

The ink is safe, it's made from veg oil. Don't use the glossy printed ads. I justlay it down, but you can crumble it up too if you want the snake to have something to crawl through.
I do the same as everyone else. Nice and simple. I do have an albino that had some of the ink transfer when she spilled her water and then laid on the wet newspaper, but it comes off pretty easily.
