Water

Hey just wondering how long can Corn Snakes go without water? I haven't seen my baby drink yet since I brought her home last week, just don't want her to get dehydrated or something

Thanks!

Re: Water

They should always have a water source. Even though you might not see it I promise she's drinking. I don't see my snakes drink often, but it definitely comes out the other end... lol.

Re: Water

I rarely see mine drink, but she still does. They only drink a couple times a day so your chances of actually seeing it happen are low.

Wait until you see one blowing bubbles. I've got one that comes over when I pour fresh water in her bowl and she takes a few big gulps right away and every so often when she gets done doing that she just blows bubbles. Looks/sounds funny, no idea why she does it. No RI, doesn't appear to be any stuck shed, she just blows bubbles.

Re: Water

I've had my Garter and King for a few months now. Only seen them drink once each. Got to watch the Garter shed last month. Now that was cool.

Re: Water

I've had my jcp for 1.5 years and I only saw her drink once ... Right after I watched her shed for the first time ... Needless to say it was a pretty cool day

Oh wow that would have been an awesome day for you!

Eve is seeming to be particular, I hold her and when I go to put her back I hover her over the water bowl and she drinks every time, weird! She's done that 3 times now
