Question About Night

So I know that the hot spot during the day needs to be between 75-85 but what about night? Do I leave the heat the same or should I turn off the heat pad? What is the lowest it can go at night?

Oh and I'm talking about a corn snake here. Lol

Re: Question About Night

It depends on the ambient temp in the room the snake is kept. Most likely you can turn it off if you would like. I would leave it on though.

Re: Question About Night

I leave my heat source on 24/7 as well. The hot spot should stay around 86 and the cool side can be in the low-mid 70's.

Re: Question About Night

Unless you're breeding and using night drops you can keep it 24/7.
