Snakes used in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here

I'm upset about the use of snakes, as well as insects and other animals in I'm a celeb, where they are used as props rather than living creatures often handled by celebrities who will not be experienced in handling them.

If there is anyone else from the UK here, I've set up an e-petition calling for new legislation to prevent Animals and Insects being maltreated on television, I'm hoping to find 100,000 people to possibly get this issue discussed in parliament. Hopefully we can stop this annual abuse of living creatures when the programme returns next year.
