bull snake not eating

Hi snake lovers. My three year old male bull has stopped eating. He's still very active cruising around his cage frequently. Its been about a month since he's eaten. He's done this before so I'm really not that worried yet. I went to a larger rat (frozen thawed) and wonder if that might be why he's turning his nose up. Nothing else has changed in his cage. Lights and heat are on timers and the warm side of his cage is 82°F. Thanks
Carl

Wouldn't worry yet. I have a Variable Thayeri King that hasn't eaten in a month, while all the other 5 of mine have. No signs of resp. infection, sluggishness etc.

Re: bull snake not eating

I'm with Big T. As long as your husbandry is dialed in, and he's not losing significant weight, I wouldn't worry at all. My yearling bull female took a couple of weeks off but she's back on now. One of my kings has only eaten twice in 3 months but hasn't lost any weight. I think it's just that time of year.
