I've been messing with snakes since I was a kid. Not much for the exotics, mainly constrictors of North America (rat, king, milk, etc.).
I've had a lot of snakes over the years. Rat snakes the last 25 years: Currently Whiskey-Yellow; Mick-Red. Prior Louie-Black (favorite ever); Pennis-red (rhymes with tennis). Also a really mean speckled king. (2) Milk snakes that died suddenly and strangely.
It's been a lot of fun. Now that I'm older, when I see one, I'll just pick it up and hold it for a while, then let it go.
Not for the venomous ones, that just seems crazy to me.
Well, that's about it. Glad to have found the forum.
