Idk if anyone would get this reference, but he looks like Elijah wood in the first sin city movie. When he's got that glazed over stare and that half smirk smile. I'll try to find a pic.

Heh. I missed these comments. I do see the resemblance.
The interesting thing is coloration is changing with each shed. He's been developing a lot of random areas of red on his body that is out of place. I think he may actually be what is know as a malt phase.
