Whats your definition of a higher end morph? Cause this morph is up there (in my opinion). But I mean honestly, no not really. Yeah some of the crazy pieds Bob Clark produces are stunning but a lot of super expensive morphs (golden child sun tiger , Golden child motleys, platty supers with GS, etc etc etc) I don't like as much as the purple motley, I love the purple gene and the motley and my favorite part is their white head...so cool, but hey thats my opinion. Also, What I can afford and what I would spend on a snake are two different numbers lol

lol no doubt, i'd love to have some of the 15k to 20k snakes but my pocket book isn't deep enough as most people's aren't, love that purple gene but i prefer the lavender gene just because its can make all 3 phases.

Re: Everyone say hi to my new purple motley :)
I would consider this a "mid-range" morph. 2+ genes are necessary and the cost would have to be $3k+ for high end, but hey, that's just my opinion. I don't consider ghosts or pieds high end, just new. Sun ghost or pied tiger? Definitely. You do have a very nice purple motley. If you ever feel like breeding him I've got a Motley "het lav" that will be bred to a white motley poss het titanium next year, I'll do a "forum friends" discount on the offspring of.

Haha mine aren't either. Ahh I prefer the purple over the lav, just because the lavender is usually kinda faded (not as bright as the purple in the purples) and they tend to have more yellow vs the purples having more orange. I just like the oranges and the brighter purples. But I was actually considering a motley lav before I found this guy! + the lavs are cheaper so thats a +

Don't tempt me. I'm constantly fighting the urge to get another snake. It hasn't been a full 2 months since my latest addition and I promised my girlfriend that (4) was the magic number. I've got to lay low for a while, let the dust settle, and strike again when the time is right. I'm thinking the spring/summer of 2015. It takes months to soften her up but I'll get there

What a BS comment man... So you think only the high end expensive morphs are awesome and worth being the best you've seen??? I rather give 50euro for a normal than 50k for some triple gene morph any day!!! Like he said, it's his opinion, so has nothing to do with how much he had to pay for it... These thoughts are the reason the hobby is screwed.
