Possible Rehome Situation

I have recently been in contact with someone about rehoming a Coastal Carpet Python & a Boa. My problem is the pictures for the Boa are terrible so I thought I would upload the best picture and see if you guys could help me identify which species of Boa he is as this person seems to be quiet shady and rude so them lying or not being right is a high possibility. Once I know I can do research if needed and advice from you guys would be a great help. I genuinely think these animals are not getting the best care so I would love to try and help them if possible

I would stay away from shady and rude at all costs. Huge red flag for me.

I would too but then I don't want to leave an animal that I'm pretty sure is being mistreated. Apparently this Boa is being fed very 4-6 weeks which I'm pretty sure isn't right right?

If it is an adult boa i don't see any problem with that.

It sucks, but that is what you have to do. there are too many mistreated reptiles out there you to take care of. If you rehome something, that owner is just going to use the free space for another animal. It's sad but true.

Also, there is the the very real possibility that you could be exposing your current animals to a variety of diseases or parasites from this other animal.

Shady and rude, in other words this person has something to hide and is being defensive in posture. Wonder what it is? My first thoughts were that he's embarrassed about mistreating the snakes and essentially failing as a keeper, or the snakes are diseased and he doesn't want you to know. The disease thing obviously is a huge concern.

Re: Possible Rehome Situation

The person has just been giving me the run around so unfortunately I won't be able to rehome the animal. You guys are probably right I wouldn't want to risk my other snake getting any diseases, mites etc it's just a shame knowing that an animal is being poorly cared for, really breaks my heart.

I believe he's only a year old so shouldn't he should be fed every 7-10 days? 14 at a push.
