A poem for all the herpers alone for Valentine's
I thought it was sad that there are some of you that will be spending this evening alone with the herps. So I thought I would write you a poem to let you know that be thankful with the herps you are not alone......lol......this IS just a poem and nothing BAD is meant by it......enjoy......afterall, this is straight from the heart with demerol and wine going down nicely.
I have a buddy,
my buddy's a frog.
My buddy's all bloody,
he's flat on a log.
But he's my buddy,
my buddy to stay.
Till the rain comes along,
and washes him away.
I have a buddy,
my buddy's a toad.
My buddy's really flat,
He's squashed on the road.
But he's my buddy,
My buddy to stay.
Till the crows come along,
and carry him away.
I have a buddy,
my buddy's a snake.
My buddy tastes funny,
he's in my piece of cake.
But he's my buddy,
my buddy to stay.
Till I get sick to my stomach,
and he gets flushed away.
I have a buddy,
my buddy's a lizard.
My buddy feels funny,
'cause he's stuck in my gizzard.
But he's my buddy,
my buddy to stay.
Till the doc cuts me open,
and throws him away.
HA!! Now all you lonely people......Have you hugged your herp today?

Yah I spent some quality time with my gecko because he was having problems shedding.
Now that's Valentines' Day.
Heather
